I often hear from child therapists that engaging and supporting parents is one of the most challenging aspects of the work. At times, it is hard to balance our work with the child, the parent-child relationship, and parental needs. Given the needs of some of our clients, it can seem daunting to support parents properly.


Having the tools to work with parents is vital to successful and competent services. This video explores the benefits of engaging parents, strategies to support them, and some resources on perinatal mental health.
